Washington DC, September 18, 2012 - - “The R.I.P. Files,” a fresh new series featuring an unusual paranormal investigation team based in Washington DC, is now represented by New Dominion Pictures LLC for worldwide distribution. Kristen Eppley, Senior Vice President of International Distribution for Suffolk, VA-based New Dominion Pictures, and Patricia Marin, producer of “The R.I.P. Files,” made the announcement today. New Dominion Pictures produces and distributes “A Haunting” and many other successful documentaries and reality shows. “The R.I.P. Files” is produced by Marin Group Productions LLC.

“We think the show is exciting and different,” Eppley explained. “All the R.I.P. investigators have some type of psychic ability and each has experienced paranormal activity in their own lives. Patricia, the founder, has been a student of metaphysics for many years. Her female-led team has impressive credentials and they’re known for intense interaction with the spirits at haunted locations.”

The investigators of “The R.I.P. Files” use their psychic abilities and their deep knowledge of metaphysical techniques to make contact with the resident spirits at haunted locations. They encourage these entities to share their stories in their own words through amazing EVPs and other evidence that is bridging the gap between the worlds of science and spirituality. Not just another ghost show, “The R.I.P. Files” explores the issues of life and death that we all must face. As they learn and grow in their profession, making new discoveries that push the boundaries of paranormal research, the investigators also find themselves compelled to examine the effects of their activities on their own lives, on the lives of those around them, and on the spirits themselves.

“We’re very proud to be working with New Dominion Pictures,” producer Patricia Marin commented. “They’re extremely well-respected in the entertainment industry and they understand the challenges of creating a paranormal show that is 100% real. I believe they’re the best choice to represent “The R.I.P. Files” in the global marketplace.” The show’s Sizzle Reel can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dR2azWK1Tg&feature=plcp.

Six episodes of “The R.I.P. Files” are currently available for screening and the series will be showcased at the upcoming MIPCOM 2012, an annual entertainment industry event that brings together buyers and sellers from around the world in Cannes, France, every October. New Dominion Pictures will also be representing “The R.I.P. Files” at other prestigious exhibitions, including NATPE, MIPTV, and ReelScreen. Season 1 will be completed and ready for delivery in late 2012.
